Cut high on the hip and closed with bonded edges, the thong disappears under everything - denim, linen, a swim cover-up. Minimal at the back, smooth at the front, with no seam to press a line through whatever is worn over it.

Rinse in fresh water straight after swimming — salt and chlorine are what age swim fabric, not wear
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent, rubbing the fabric gently against itself
No chlorine bleach; it breaks down the elastane
Hang or lay flat to dry in the shade
Do not wring or twist the fabric
Do not iron and do not dry clean — both cost the fabric its stretch
