Most apparel travels through factories on three continents before it reaches you. A DOKOYO travels across one room. By keeping everything in Bali, we control quality at every step, work directly with local teams and suppliers, and support a more connected, circular local economy.
STEP ONE
Design & illustration
Every print starts as an original illustration in our Bali studio — or as a photo of your cat, redrawn into a DOKOYO print by our artists.
STEP TWO
High-definition printing
We print in high definition onto lightweight fabric, tuned for vivid color that survives sun, sea and hundreds of washes.
STEP THREE
Precision cutting
Panels are cut to keep the print exactly where it should be — no cat ends up with their face on a seam.
STEP FOUR
Sewn by hand
Our sewing team assembles each piece with construction refined over 15 years — soft edges, flat seams, no dig, no roll.
STEP FIVE
Quality check
Every single piece is inspected before packing: print, stitching, stretch and finish. If it is not right, it does not ship.
